Dear Friends and Family,
Our wedding invitations will be in the mail this week!

I know many of you have been inquiring about whether or not we are registered for gifts anywhere. We have an online account at www.myregistry.com. Just search for Jaime Arthur or Simon Jaynes and you will find a list of gift possibilities from many stores and alternative ideas.

If you are in Port Townsend, we are registered at The Green Eyeshade.

We started a honeymoon registry at www.honeyfund.com, where you can also search for Simon or I to find ways to contribute to our romantic getaway.

We are so excited for our day this August and can't wait to share it with all of you.
love,
Jaime & Simon

Meet Simon's Groomsmen

BEN JAYNES

Brother of the Groom

Ben needs little introduction.

A macho man.....

....With a sensitive side

If you have not met him..............

...........get ready for a distinct pleasure

Ben currently spends his summers at sea wrestling salmon
and he survived the strange and difficult fate of being my younger brother.
I am quite proud to have him standing in my wedding.

AARON CARSON

Carson and I spent many years hanging around just trying to look cool.

Carson has agreed to be the officiant of our ceremony.

He will be marrying Jaime and I.

BRENDON PISKULA

Brendon is a man of many talents.... Apparently one of them is not aging.
I sorted through pictures of him from the last 10 years and honestly he looks the same in all of them.....

......Me not so much.

LUKE RICHARDSON

For some reason I have very few pictures of Luke

But this series pretty much sums up all
you need to know .

Meet Jaime's Bridesmaids

It's my honor to introduce four wonderful women in my life:

Kristin Arthur, my world traveling sister.
Sarah Westerman, my life long friend.
Hilary Olson, my fire-snake soul mate.
Keri Jones, my friend who knows everything (and still chose to live next door.)

(This is a picture of Sarah with Reba Eaton at our Senior Prom in 1996.)

Sarah Westerman and I met in the first grade at Grant Street Elementary School. We have been best friends ever since. Even though Sarah and I have lived apart in many cities, we've never lost touch or the bond we share. Sarah is a Head Start teacher and Family Advocate in Olympia, WA.

First Grade...

Second Grade...

Third Grade...

Fourth Grade....

Fifth Grade...

and WE MADE IT!!!

even to COLLEGE!

Kristi Arthur currently lives in Nairobi Kenya as a social worker and has explored nearly every continent (I think Antarctica and Australia are the last on her list.) As my younger sister she has put up with a lot from me (rug burn!) and I'm grateful to have such an amazing sibling who inspires me to be better in my own life.

um... what the hell am I wearing?

Hilary Olson and I met while studying art at The School at the Art Institute of Chicago. Hilary and I shared a passion for fashion, textiles, and adventurous haircolor. She is a creative force that continues to make my life and the world a more a beautiful place. Hilary currently lives in Los Angeles.

total bad asses...

These pictures are from our art school days. Just thought I'd throw in one of my own to give you a perspective of what was stylish back then (kinda.)

Keri Jones and I have lead somewhat parallel lives. We met in Chicago (her home town) because her best friend (John) was dating my best friend (Keith.) We both moved to New York to work in the Fashion Industry and ended up working for two brands by the same company. Then we both got sick of living in New York and both moved to Portland, OR to find a fresh start. She has lived next door to me twice. She and her husband, Sean, bought a house two doors down from Simon and I, on the same side of the street. I just can't shake her! Having Keri in my life is wonderful and I love her so much! I hope we get to grow old together.

Keri became a mom last December!
