Places to Stay in Port Townsend.

Port Townsend offers many different kinds of accommodations from victorian hotels and bed & breakfasts to campsites, hostels, and traditional motels. Here is a list of places to stay and their respective websites and contact information. Most places will require a credit card number to reserve the room and require 30 days notice for cancellation without penalty. We recommend doing this as soon as possible because Port Townsend is an extremely popular travel destination and it's better to cancel a room than to be without one!

Victorian Hotels within walking distance of the reception. (These are recommended and priced competitively with anything in P.T.):

Palace Hotel & Captain Tibbals. Once affectionately called "the palace of sweets" (because it used to be a brothel), the award-winning Palace Hotel is located one block from Puget Sound and right in the heart of downtown PT. This affordable hotel offers private suites and shared continental rooms. Dog friendly.

The Belmont Hotel. This is an historic 1885 hotel with only 4 rooms but does feature beautiful views of the water and one of the nicest restaurants in Port Townsend. Contact info: 360-385-3007 http://www.thebelmontpt.com/.thebelmontpt.com/

The Swan Hotel. This lovely hotel features a beautiful view of Point Hudson Marina and several beautiful rooms including a 2 story penthouse. They also have 4 studio cottages that are charming with many modern amenitites. This hotel is 4 blocks from the wedding reception.

The Waterstreet Hotel. Another original victorian hotel on the waterfront in Port Townsend. This one features a good surly watering hole on the first floor and is just 2 blocks from the wedding reception.

Bed & Breakfasts:

Motels:

All motels listed here are within approx. 1 mile of the wedding reception.

The Tides Inn. Some rooms in this classic motel have hot-tubs right off of the beach.

Camping and the Olympic Hostel:

Fort Worden State Park is stunning place to camp and offers many different locations; some spots are right on the beach but they can be very windy, other spots are more sheltered up in the woods. Fort Worden is within the Port Townsend City limits and is only a few miles from the wedding reception. Due to it's popularity in the summer, Fort Worden has restrictions on it's reservation process.
